THE SIGN Raymond Khoury Books

Raymond Khoury lives in that space where science and religion form both conflicts and alliances. It's a very interesting space, and one that a lot of people would like to manipulate to their own ends. This is the story of one major conspiracy to use that space for different agendas.

Who are the heroes and who are the villains? You will have to trust your own instincts on that, and be prepared to adjust as more is revealed. It's a fast-paced, tense drama with only a little insight and meditation, but that little is to very good effect. Almost everyone involved is transformed by the events of the story, and who does not change is even more revealing than who does.

Yes, that kind of complex, compelling story.

THE SIGN Raymond Khoury Books Reviews

NOT ONE OF HIS BEST I LIKED THE TEMPLAR STORIES AND A COUPLE OF OTHERS BETTER. A LITTLE SLOW
Nicely written, well developed, and just plain drawing you in. I definitely enjoyed the book and would certainly recommend it to others.
It was a little slow moving at first while the sub plots were taking form. Once they started to pull together the story built in momentum.
I loved the “Last Templar” and “The Sanctuary”. This seemed forced and really preachy (in a Tyler Perry movies sort of way).
This book was very well written and kept me interested to the end. Unlike the books of today where the authors fill a book with hollow words, Raymond Khoury seems to take the time to make sure the words paint a vivid picture. These books remind me of the Irving Wallace books where the storytelling is fantastic and the endings are "feel good" endings.
I have enjoyed many of Khoury's works but this is weak. The plot has potential but his portrayal of people of faith is cartoonish and his portrayal of the climate change debate seems limited to the cliff note version of Al Gore's movie. I am forcing myself to read the final third in the hopes that there is unexpected depth hiding somewhere.
The characters were strictly one-dimensional. The plot jumped from pillar to post and was completely obscured by whatever statement Khoury was trying to make. A real disappointment; I enjoyed The Last Templar and thought that this might be another good read. A real disappointment; I gave up after the first hundred or so pages -- something I rarely do in a book.
