This book is great it gives a perfect example of a mothers love for her child/dren. A must have.
My 7 year old has read this aloud to my 4 year old--and both declare it "the cutest story EVER." They seem drawn to the simple, rich illustrations and the message that resonates you are loved no matter what. This book would make a lovely gift for any child (or parent!).
I recieved this book as a gift to my baby boy who is now 13 months. It is his favorite book and I read it to him at least 3 times a night. He will squrim out of my lap and go find this book if I try to read him another book instead. I love the precious message and the stunning simple art in the book. I just wish it came in a board book format so my baby couldn't damage the pages.
I just love this book........the words, the message, the illustrations! It is absolulely adorable! I highly recommend it. It is perfect for a baby up through a 5 or 6 year old. A great gift and a great reminder that love is unconditional.......no matter what!

On a side note- has this been changed to a book titled "Always"? I couldn't find a new one of this but came across that book and the illustration is the same...
This is a wonderful story of a parent's love for her child. It shows children that their parents love them no matter what they do. Read it aloud to your kids especially after a trying time so they remember you still love them! I also love the illustrations in this book. They really show the expressions of the elephants love.
This story is so simple it is genius! After reading it once my 5 year old could say the whole story to me just by looking at the pictures. I got it from the library but it is so sweet and makes him smile everytime, I am adding it to our permanent collection. As another reviewer said, it is comforting during those trying days when the kids have you at your wits end--therapeutic for both of us!
