This is one of my favorite stories. The translation was great. I love the way the translations have hyperlinks. I think all dual language kindle books should be set up this way.
The Cover is spelt wrong! It says the Cast instead of Cask...NOT good at all
I bought this book based on the notation that it was a high-quality paperback book. The book had six or seven pages that looked like they had been written on a typewriter. Then, there were pages and pages of blank paper (probably at least 20 blank pages). This is not what I call a high-quality paperback book. I was going to use it with my class at school, but I just brought it back home instead of using it.The Cask of Amontillado

The very first sentence sucks you into the story. It is a short story of revenge. I honestly didn't find anything to dislike. A story of fiction but it does describe, in my opinion, the darkness of humanity. Most human beings would not dare act this story out. But I'm sure lots of us have imagine scenarios at one point in our lives where we would like to play it out in reality.
Very disappointed with this audio version. The sample recording sounded great, which is why I purchased it. The description says "unabridged" and it is not. There are parts missing making it hard for a student to follow along with the text. Hoping I can get a refund.
I really enjoyed the (dramatized) version of the Cask of Amontillado from audiobooks. It clearly stated the plot summary, so I was clearly able to fully understand the short story. Excellent and very entertaining.
